The Ancillary Services Market Module, addressed to TSOs, is a regional market-based platform on procurement processes for Regional capacity reserves such as monthly and week-ahead Frequency response auctions. This tool will not only manage the services for the Frequency response reserve, but it will also enable auctions helping TSO’s to procure and provide the Frequency response reserve in two different time horizons: monthly and weekly. Participants can be TSOs and/or balancing service providers depending on the agreement between the involved TSOs.
